Sponsor a Syrian Orphan

Syrian children are living in the world's most dangerous place to be a child. They have suffered unimaginable trauma and are at risk of exploitations such as child labour, early marriage and other damaging activities. After 10 years of conflict and displacement, millions of children have been orphaned. While the conflict has raged on, they have grown up in a world unable to meet their needs.

Through our Orphan Sponsorship Programmes, you can help to give a child the lifeline they desperately need. Our priority is to support orphans in their normal or extended family environment. We try to ensure that with support their carer is able to feed, clothe and educate the orphan in need.

When 8-year-old Omar lost both of his parents, he was taken in by his aunt. With children of her own, Omar’s aunt was struggling to pay the rent and provide food, leaving Omar with no choice but to work. Once Omar was enrolled on our Orphan Sponsorship Programme, we helped ensure his aunt could feed and clothe her orphaned nephew as well as afford the house rent. Thanks to that extra help, Omar no longer needs to work and is attending school.

“I used to get upset when I’d see my friends walking to school each morning because I couldn't join them, I had to go to work. I felt so left out. I was so happy and excited when I left work and started attending school again with my friends. I love my school and I want to grow up and be an English teacher.” Give something to a child who has lost everything. Support a Syrian orphan today.

The biggest victims of this conflict have been the mass population of orphaned children who are desperately in need of help. Your donation could be the lifeline they need.
