The Chance to Learn Can Change a Child's Life

Syria’s brutal conflict, which has destroyed and damaged 40% of Syria’s schools, has left 2.1 million out of education. North West Syria is facing a crisis of children being out of education due to the influx of internally displaced families.

Without the chance to learn, children are more likely to be trapped in the vicious cycles of poverty, poor health, forced labour and early marriage. At Syria Relief, it is our mission to get as many children as we can back into school and give them a chance to shape their future.

We are currently running 306 schools across Northern Syria, making us the largest non-governmental provider of education in Syria.

Syria Relief aims to open more doors for Syrian children of this generation and of generations to come. We need your help to give Syrian children the chance of a future. Donate now.

We are investing heavily in the future of Syrian children by rebuilding schools across the region. To find out how you can contribute to the building of a school, visit our major giving page.

Our ambition is to set up more schools across Syria, opening doors of education to hundreds of new students. For that ambition to become a reality, we need your support.

Rebuild A School in Syria

2 million children are out of school in Syria, nearly 40% of whom are girls.40% of schools inside Syria have been damaged, destroyed or repurposed. The education system has been brutalised, broken and forgotten. Education is the first line of defence to stop children from falling into detrimental traps, such as child labour, sexual abuse and early marriage.

We are proud to be running over 300 of schools across Syria supporting over 40,000 children. We are the largest non-governmental provider of education in Syria. With the support of our partner organisations and donors we are able to manage schools, train teachers, refurbish and restore buildings, set up mobile teacher initiatives, and provide psychological support to students.

Educate A Child in Yemen

2 million children are also out of school in Yemen. Attacks on school children, teachers and infrastructure are having a devastating impact on the Yemen’s education system. Without access to education, children are more likely to be trapped in the vicious cycles of poverty, poor health, forced labour and early marriage.

Help give children a childhood and future in Yemen, donate now.
