Torrential storms have caused widespread flooding and damaged camps in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside leaving families vulnerable.
This week many camps in Northern Syria, home to thousands of displaced people, were severely damaged by storms and flooding. Tents were damaged, belongings destroyed and sanitation systems now need to be rebuilt. Many have been forced to patch up the fabric of tents with plastic bags or blankets.
Can you imagine escaping the dangers of war with only what you can carry? Can you imagine then losing everything in a flood? This is the reality of winter in a displacement camp.
As the winter approaches the risk of further flooding and freezing temperatures are only increasing. Without support, families will lose everything.
Our teams are on the ground responding to the emergency, delivering winter aid and support families in need but we need your help! Help save families this winter!
