Give Hope, Give Qurbani

The month of Dhul Hijjah is a special time for Muslims across the globe.

The month of Dhul Hijjah is a special time for Muslims across the globe. It is the time of year when we remember the ever-inspiring life story of the Prophet Ibrahim (as) and the great sacrifices he made to demonstrate his devotion and love for Allah (swt).

Every year during the month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world sacrifice an animal and the meat is distributed to families in need. For the thousands of families living in besieged areas and inadequate camps, assess to meat is near non-existent.

Syria Relief has been carrying out Qurbani in Syria and the neighbouring regions for the last 10 years. Given the challenging circumstances, Qurbani in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen is never the cheapest option - but a true sacrifice worth its name will never be the easiest option.

It is only through your Qurbani donations that displaced families can celebrate the joy of Eid and share a delicious, nutritious meal. By choosing Syria Relief to deliver your Qurbani, you won’t just be giving people meat, you’ll be giving them hope.
