Syria (Idleb) - Cash Assistance for Winter Response
Context and Need: In Northwest Syria, prolonged conflict has left families highly vulnerable, with limited resources to face the winter. Many households struggle to afford basic necessities, making cash assistance a vital support for dignity and choice.
Campaign Narrative: This project empowers families with cash assistance to address their most urgent needs during winter. Supporters have a chance to offer direct help, enabling families to purchase essentials like fuel and food, thus maintaining their dignity in challenging times.
Activities and Impact: Each family receives £190 (approximately £32 per individual), assisting 60 households (300 people) in purchasing essential winter items. This support not only meets urgent winter needs but also boosts the local economy by enabling beneficiaries to buy directly from local markets.

Syria (Idleb) - Heating for Schools
Context and Need: In Idleb, schools struggle to provide a warm environment for learning as winter approaches, with limited access to heating fuel. Students, already affected by conflict, face additional hardships in cold classrooms.
Campaign Narrative: By supporting heating for schools, donors are helping to create a stable, comfortable environment where children can focus on learning despite external challenges. This project provides essential warmth, making education more accessible during winter.
Activities and Impact: The project funds £1,500 worth of fuel for three schools, reaching 1,123 students. This warmth in classrooms allows students to engage in their studies, ensuring education continues uninterrupted during the winter months.

Context and Need: In Raqqa, internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in collective shelters face extremely harsh conditions during winter. Without adequate heating, they are vulnerable to cold-related health risks.
Campaign Narrative: This project provides blankets, carpets, and mattresses, bringing warmth and comfort to families in need. Donors can play a critical role in protecting displaced families from the elements, ensuring they have the essentials to stay warm.
