BUILD A HOME IN SYRIA

Syria remains trapped in a complex humanitarian crisis. 13+ years of conflict have forced more than 12 million people to flee their homes.

We're entering Phase 3 of our housing project. This will see the construction of 750 homes for displaced families, each featuring a kitchen, sleeping area and separate living space. This phase will also see the establishment of a school, primary health centre and place of worship.

GIVE TO A SCHOOL IN NEED

Syria’s brutal conflict, which has destroyed and damaged 40% of Syria’s schools, has left 2.4 million out of education. Northwest Syria is facing a crisis of children being out of education due to the influx of internally displaced families.

Without the chance to learn, children are more likely to be trapped in the vicious cycles of poverty, poor health, forced labour and early marriage. At Syria Relief/Action For Humanity, it is our mission to get as many children as we can back into school and give them a chance to shape their future.

Our Aim

Syria Relief was launched shortly after the start of the Syrian conflict in 2011. We then grew to become the largest Syria-focused, UK-based charity, and have since transitioned into our parent charity, Action For Humanity. Our aim is to provide aid and assistance to people affected by emergencies.

Programmes

We are working to provide food, water and shelter to families in some of the hardest to reach areas in Syria and its neighbouring countries. Our medical programmes deliver urgent care to those who are suffering from serious injury as well as regular treatment for chronic illnesses, vaccinations, and mental health support.

Emergency Appeals

We have teams on the ground who, along with the support of our partner, are working around the clock delivering emergency aid to those who need it most. Our emergency appeals are not just restricted to Syria; we have appeals running in places such as Rohingya and Yemen. Take a look at our appeals page for more details.
