In Yemen, the need for access to clean water remain substantially high due to the increasing number of displaced people. The natural disasters, food insecurity, epidemic outbreaks, and the escalation of conflict along the coastal areas of Al-Hudaydah have further increased these needs. Many regions have existing but damaged infrastructure for water wells, which can be revived for the people of Yemen.

The Al Khorah water well in Taiz requires rehabilitation to again provide access to water after being non-functional for over two years.

The project will include clean out of debris and reconstruction of the well, whilst replacing damaged parts with new and fully functional equipment as a long-term solution for the people in the surrounding community
