Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya, a Muslim ethnic minority group, have fled persecution in Myanmar’s Rakhine State leading to a historic migration crisis. There are an estimated 3.5 million Rohingya dispersed worldwide, out of which over a million are now living in squalid refugee camps in neighbouring Bangladesh with the majority residing in Cox’s bazaar.

Syria Relief, on request of individual donors, will dig a water well in Bangladesh for the Rohingya Refugees. The extracted water will be channeled to 50 refugee tents through water pipelines, helping more than 450 people.
